First you must pick an affiliate marketing program that you would like to get others to sign up for. In my last post I was talking about how to build a website to earn some cash. I left of at finding the keywords for your niche of course all you have to do is look back at the last post.
Aside from using the Google adword tool, I would also recommend searching some of the keywords and check to see what comes out on the top of the search engine page. Are the sites relevant to there keywords? How many sites are shown in the results? If there is less results for the keywords you search then you could use those and have less problem ranking. There are also tools that can be used for best keyword practices such as IMeye, WordStream and the like. The next thing you must do is start on the site of course In the design I would not suggest putting up way to many banners and text adds. Search engines do not look too kindly at websites that have banners all over them and you really don’t want the site to look sloppy in the first place. Keep it down to maybe 3 banners throughout the whole site. Maybe one or two on the side one on the top or bottom. There are a lot of training programs for this type of thing that you can search out. Now that you have the keywords you need to place them throughout your page. I would not go to overboard on this. I would put them in the titles and lace them in some of the content. Although that doesn’t sound like a lot, you may have a head start against your competition. To finish off the remaining 75% you will want to do some inbound link building. Finally when you find a niche for your site you need to find the keywords for your site. The best way to do this is type in your search engine “Google keyword tool”…. Which you will end up hooking you up with the keyword search for Google adwords. You will want to search for those keywords that fit your niche that are low competition and have a decent amount of traffic coming per month. This is shown in the adword tool to the right of the keyword itself. Though that is not the most thorough way to do it, I will get a little more into it in my next post.
